It’s that time of year, again – FISH STOCKING! The generous donations received in 2025 allowed us to stock over 1,000 trout and walleye, with 20 of those fish tagged for special donor tracking. We had 9 tagged trout reported as caught and released, WOW! Those donors were sent pictures of their fish, along with any fun fishing story that was provided. It’s been a reel (I mean real) treat to receive and share all the photos and texts of Lewis Lake fishing. Let’s keep that momentum rolling, folks! We want an even bigger 2026, so the committee has set a goal of $2,000 for our Fish Stocking Fund. With continued support of the Lewis Lake community and loved ones, we can keep our lake “fishing friendly” and “angler adventurous”. We are so close to our goal, only $675 to go! Put the word out, ask your family and friends! I know we can do it and stock some amazing fish this year.
Mark your calendar and join in on the fin (I mean fun) - We have November 7th set for the fish stocking truck to arrive, time TBD.
Like last year, we will be tagging fish for special donor tracking. Reach out if you have any interest or questions. I can accept Zelle, Venmo or check.
Thanks so much for your support and let’s keep making lasting memories at Lewis Lake!

Lewis Lake is lucky to have a very special resident—a bald eagle that has made our lake part of its home!
Seeing this magnificent bird soaring above the water, perched high in the trees, or watching over the lake is a wonderful reminder of the natural beauty and wildlife that make Lewis Lake so special.
We thought it would be fun to give our resident eagle a name, and we want our lake members to help choose it!
Send us your best name suggestions, and we’ll put some of the favorites up for a community vote. Who knows—your suggestion might become the official name of the Lewis Lake Bald Eagle! 💙🦅

The Lewis Lake Fourth of July Boat Parade was a fantastic celebration and a wonderful display of community spirit! It was great to see so many lake members, families, and friends come together to enjoy the decorated boats, patriotic colors, and excitement on the water. The turnout and enthusiasm made the day especially memorable and showed what makes the Lewis Lake community so special. Events like the boat parade give everyone a chance to have fun, connect with neighbors, and create lasting memories together. Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from shore, and helped make the celebration such a success—we look forward to keeping this great Lewis Lake tradition going for years to come!

The 2026 inspections identified erosion and a water path beneath the Lewis Lake Dam.
Prompt repairs were completed to protect the dam and prevent further erosion.
The $6,500 project included stone reinforcement, spillway improvements, and reseeding.
The repaired areas were stabilized and the dam is now in good shape.
